This is my 1/48 scale dk models type v11c u-331 that i produced years ago. model is firing a homemade capacitor torpedo from the stern . this model is using a d&e miniatures watertight cylinder. U-boat u47 rc submarine attack ! [*ultrahd and 4k*] a bit artistic licence taken here...but it seemed appropriate given there was a very unfortunate sinking of a nice boat while i was filming. On this site i go through two complete builds, including the rewire of the u boat to include the arduino routines. it is all there, including the frustration and shock of finding out that i need to completely reconfigure the trim if the boat is to work. it happens like this with scratchbuilt boats..
