Caught some blue crabs and cut loose a gator who swallowed someones crab line.. The other launch is near the end of lake road, and is much closer to the mouth of the bayou. the area just north and south of the launch is popular with recreational crabbers in the warm-weather.
Bordages brothers’ marina is one of the oldest continuously operated marinas along the mississippi gulf coast. we offer live bait shrimp, live cacchio minnows, live crabs, dead bait shrimp and more. we have launch ramps, parking and recently have added some covered boat sheds. we are located just down bayou caddy from the silver slipper casino.. There are two boat ramps that most people in destin use to get to the east pass: 1) joes bayou, run by the city of destin, and 2) destin marina boat ramp. both have ample parking and can launch most trailerable boats..
